I receive a 1646 error when attempting to update reader. I also can not remove ther reader and recieve a message "Uninstallation of the update package is not supported."

    Hi Cdreg,

    Could you confirm the operating system you are working on? And which version of Adobe Reader you currently working on?

    If its Windows, then use the cleaner tool and uninstall the application-

    Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs

    And try downloading it through the- Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    If its Mac, then remove the application from Go>Utilities>Adobe Installers uninstall current reader.

    Let us know if that doesn't work.
