How to exit full screen mode without touching the screen or having access to the toolbar at the bottom?

Help please. Updated yesterday PS yesterday April2020 and can't get out of fullscreen mode. I have tried every solution in tbis thread, Esc, F, Code L etc. Anything else?

Hey guys, Something worked for me:

Go see the shortcut assigned to your Toggle Full Screen in

Edit/Keyboard Shortcuts then

write Toggle Full Screen in the search. 

You will see the associated shortcut.

If there is none, create the one you want!

F worked for me! It cycles through the different screen modes. I must have accidentally pressed it while going for V.

What happened to good old intuitive ESC key?

ESC should work too, in general. There's a preference (under the Full Screen category) that allows ESC key to exit full-screen. It's on by default so ESC should work. But in case it gets unchecked, Control-L or Command-L can still be used.
