External Monitor Scaling Issue

I have the same issue as this:Acrobat Reader DC window on external monitor is too big

It is very frustrating since I can't use reader on my external monitor. And No changing the scaling from auto-detect to no scaling does not work since it makes reader tiny in my laptop screen.

I'm using a surface pro 4 running windows 10. Need a fix for this problem as according to the linked thread it still has not been solved since November of 2015!!!

This is what worked for me.

I went to edit, preferences, general, under touch mode I clicked never and no scaling. I reboot and just like that it returned to normal.
