Question

Fields entered by Signing Party 1 are not appearing on the final signed agreement.

I sent an agreement with a default value for a text field (e.g., Position), and this field can be edited by Signing Party 1. This part works correctly. However, after signing, the value entered by the party does not appear on the final document. What could be the reason?

@randika_chandimal_2267 The reason the edited value from Signing Party 1's text field isn't appearing in the final signed document likely stems from how the document is being finalized or the field properties are configured within your agreement platform. Is it possible that the field was initially set with a default value but wasn't explicitly designated as a field whose final, edited value should be retained and integrated into the permanent document record upon completion. Check the settings or properties of that specific "Position" text field within your agreement platform's template or editing environment. Ensure that there's an option selected to "save signed data" or "retain field values" upon completion, and that this setting is applied to the editable fields for Signing Party 1. If the platform has a "flatten document" option during the finalization process, ensure that this isn't being applied in a way that discards the entered data instead of embedding it. Reviewing the field's behavior settings and the finalization workflow within your agreement platform should reveal why the edited value isn't being saved.
