Why are the cursors different on files? Some are an arrow and others are a large plus sign.  The difference makes a difference in how to isolate and copy specific parts or phrases in the document.

    What application and version of that app are you using? What OS? Are you saying that the files are all the same file type and the same application but the cursors are different?
