File recovery

Hello, I am writing to seek information on recovering a lost file of mine. I have been using adobe dc reader to complete some assignments and for the second time I have lost my files. I even saved them to an external hard drive and now I cannot find the files anywhere. Can anybody help?

Not sure we can help... So you're saying so saved them to the drive but now can't see them? Is that the only copy you saved? Where were they located originally? How did you look for them? What's your OS version?
