Hello Adobe community!

Some PDF files are crashing when opened using Adobe Reader. Could someone help me out by letting me know if there is any option in the software that can be adjusted?
Thanks!

I had a similar problem when using reader without internet access - the computer keeps trying to callup the cloud on the internet - which I neither want or need, so it took forever to simply open a document I store on the hard drive of my computer... I had to find another older version to use without al the cloud complications. Luckily, the OS is older and still comatible with the older adobe reader version. That solved my problem - so now I know to never update to anything adobe DC or cloud related.

I don't think I understand. "Crash" means the app stops working - goes away completely, with or without an error message. Why do you say it has crashed? Do you mean it is just slow?

I'm sorry, maybe I didn't explain correctly what my problem is and so I moved the case to the wrong area of the forum.
My problem consists of documents that are slow to be manipulated in Adobe Reader.

Please show a screen shot of the crash message. Are you really using Adobe Reader (over 7 years old), or are you using an up-to-date Acrobat Reader DC? Best to tell us the actual version (from About).

Hi!
Thanks for the support!
The software does not show any error message, what happens is that it is difficult to manipulate the file because it has crashes, when the pages are moved they become very slow.
I am using Adobe Reader DC - Version 2022.002.20191.
