    Hi awawint,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We are working on fix of similar issue.

Meanwhile would you please try following workarounds:

    Restart Machine

    Repair Reader and restart machine

If Issue didn't get resolved yet, Please provide following information:

    1. Does other views like Document Cloud, My Computer, Save As Dialog, Send and Track, Send for Signature etc. load ?

    2. When the blank screen appears while opening any service view or custom open/save dialog, go to Task Manager and check whether a process named "RdrCEF" is running or not? Is it in a hanged state? If yes, right click on the process and create the dump file.

    3. Kindly share the contents of these two locations :

For 64 bit machine go to :
    C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\<Reader/Acrobat installation>/WebResources/Resource0
    C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\<Reader/Acrobat installation>/AcroCEF

For 32 bit machine go to:
    C:\ProgramFiles\<Reader/Acrobat installation>/WebResources/Resource0
    C:\ProgramFiles\<Reader/Acrobat installation>/AcroCEF

    4. In case the Rdrcef is crashing(check task manager Pid of the RdrCEF process changes) then enable the Windows crash reporting WER feature. Steps to enable crash dump creation: Collecting User-Mode Dumps (Windows).

OR The user can also use the attached registry key to enable the crash dump creation. This will place the dump at C:\Dumps\.

    dump.reg

The user can share the logs with us via Google Drive or Adobe Send https://cloud.acrobat.com/send .

    5. If possible, share a video reproducing the problem.

    Waiting for your response.

    -Thanks

i have discovered via some troubleshooting that if RdrCEF.exe is not running the "Fill & Sign" Tool will not work.

I dont need RdrCEF.exe to be running, and have disabled it deliberately. Why is it needed for the "Fill & Sign" tool to function?

    Hi aarronk8064450,

RdrCEF.exe is a detachable process of acrobat Reader. It takes care of multiple reader services(like Fill and Sign, Document Cloud, Send For Signature, Send and Track, Create PDF, Export PDF, etc) of the product. If you disable it by renaming/deleting RdrCEF.exe(which is highly not recommended), it would lead you to lack of functionalities.

Please let me know in case of further query.

    -Thanks
