Fill & Sign tools no longer work on existing PDFs after upgrade from 11 to DC

We recently upgraded from Windows 7/Adobe Reader 11 to Windows 10/Adobe Reader DC. We have documents that we use that have editable fields. As explained above, with latest version unable to use Fill & Sign tool.

What happens when you use Fill & Sign tool to fill in a form? If your current form has fillable fields, then Reader DC should let you fill the form in same way you used to do with Reader 11.

  • May be your application needs to be restart.
  • Or the pdf form you are working on has restricted fields.
  • You can give a try after uninstalling reinstalling the application.
