Fillable PDF issues when opened from VPN

Recently discovered that when opening up a fillable PDF in Acrobat Reader while over a VPN the form loads extreamly slow, file opens but all the fields populate one at a time on a single page. Also the app will lock up when selecting a field or entering text or even trying to scroll.   I have tested this on multiple computers and multiple forms.    Only happens when opened in Reader,  works fine in Acrobat Pro and other PDF viewer apps. 

Running Windows 10. Acrobat Reader DC 2021.001.20145.
Anyone else having this issue?
