Fillable pdf to only read with Adobe Reader

Hi there,

I have created a fillable pdf with Adobe Acrobat Pro and my client need that, once filled, this pdf can be saved with Adobe Reader without anybody can edit it after (that the file will only able to be read after edit it). Is this possible? In case it wasn't possible, any alternative to get this?

There are two ways of doing it in Reader, a secure one and a non-secure one.

The secure one is to digitally sign the file. The signature field can be set (in advance) to lock all the fields in the file.

The non-secure one is to use a simple script to set all the fields as read-only.
