Fillable text box issues?

Working on fillable form which has suddenly stopped allowing me to create more text boxes. This is an 8 page doc and I have a long way to go to patch where Acrobat didn't recognize fields to fill.

    Hi Abigailw,

    As you have shared above, that Acrobat has stopped allowing you to create more text boxes so could you please confirm if there is any error message pops up?

    What is the version of Acrobat you are working with? And approx how many form's field you have created so far?

    Hope you have followed the exact same steps mentioned in- PDF form field basics, Adobe Acrobat

    Thank you for your response. I realize my error: I was trying to drag the

    text field box rather than clicking on and creating box in field. Silly.

    I wonder, though, why doesn't Acrobat recognize all the fields and create

    fillable areas in the all the cells (multi-page table with many cells)

    instead of randomly selecting cells to fill?

    If I get it correctly, so for that you need to give the similar "Field name" so that it fill the same data automatically in multi-page table rather than filling it manually.
