Font Error Message

I'm trying to print a PDF file but when I try to open it, I get a message stating:

A font package is required to correctly display this page. Click "OK" to direct your browser to download the add-on from adobe.com. After installation, you will need to close and re-open the document to correctly view contents dependent on these newly installed fonts.

When I try to follow the prompt, I get routed to Adobe's Creative Cloud website, but not to anything specific.

Any ideas ?

Hi Carolg,

It doesn't really matter, there is likely a chance some font is used for the file which has Asian characters.

You can download Font pack for Reader using this link: Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows

The link above needs updating... it just dumps me out to a general site - with no specific download.

The link is fine. Scroll down to Add Ons and choose the font pack for your version and system.

I'm scanning an ENGLISH document and I'm prompted to download an Asian font package!  It's NOT an Asian document!

Let me know how it goes or if the issue still persists.

Thanks,
