Font Size for Bookmarks

I set the font size for my document at 125%.  Whenever I click on a bookmark though, it opens that bookmark at 53.3%.  I'm navigating back & forth through several pieces of a long text, so it keeps changing my font size frequently.  Can I set it so that the font size for a bookmark goes to 125% also?

Font size in PDF files is absolute. Are you referring to the zoom level, by any chance?

If so, you need to set your bookmarks to "Inherit Zoom", or to the fixed level you want them to have.

Just to clarify, though, you'll need to have Adobe Acrobat to do that. It can't be done with the free Reader.

One alternative, though, is to use an external tool to edit the bookmarks' zoom level, like this one I've developed: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Batch Edit Zoom Level in Bookmarks

Thank you for your response.  Yes, I do mean the zoom level.  I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, which I can only assume is free?  Unless it was a "paid" thing that came with the computer.  And thank you for the link, but it isn't worth the $50 to me.  I guess I'll just keep dealing with it.  At least I now know to stop looking!  Thanks again.
