Getting black boxes when copying and pasting PNGs images after update

I've been using Reader Pro extensively to edit and create documents for my work. The copy and paste feature had worked great with transperent PNG images in the past. But I just noticed today that whenever I tried to copy and past some transparent images as I usually do, all I get is a black box. However if I edit the image externally with MS paint I can put it paste it back in the PDF document - but the transperancy is lost. This is causing a huge issue for my work/productivty. I've seen others with this issue searching support forums online but none of the fixes seem to be working for me after this last update. Please assist
