Giant Font on Microsoft Surface and slow to print

I have recently replaced my Desktop PC with a Microsoft Surface running Windows 10.  I have tried advice from other forums to resolve the issue of what is now a giant font size when using Reader.  I cant resolve it can anyone help?  Also, since adding my Surface to our small (4 pc's) office network, I am waiting about 2 minutes for everything to hit our office printer...this is only an issue for me...help!  Rosewell Midlothian
