Government Client Wants Adobe Read Out Loud Tool to Read Table Summaries

Hello, I remediate pdf's to the Matterhorn Protocol standards (checking with Pac v3 and Commonlook's Validator; and testing with NVDA screen reader) and have a client with the following request, "Results from the Adobe screen reader that fail to show accessibility—including failing to produce audible alt text figure and table summaries within the optimized PDF—will not be accepted."

Question: Does Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat Professional, latest version, read out loud tool, read table summaries? I would need authoritative (for a U.S. government client) resources.
