    Hi @Swalker1

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear the installation isn't going through.

Here are the most common reasons Acrobat Reader fails to install and how to fix each one:

Step 1: Clean up any previous installation remnants: A partial or corrupted previous install is the culprit. Before trying again:

    1. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program

    2. If you see any version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader listed, uninstall it

    3. Run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://adobe.ly/4bfvE76, reboot the computer and reinstall the application using the direct link https://adobe.ly/4fsNp5o

Step 2:  Temporarily disable antivirus / security software: Some antivirus programs block Adobe installers as a false positive. Temporarily pause your antivirus, run the install, then re-enable it once done.

Step 3: Check available disk space: Acrobat Reader needs 2 GB of RAM and 4.5 GB of hard disk space https://adobe.ly/4wvhZku. Go to This PC and confirm your C: drive has enough room.

To help us narrow it down further, could you share:

    • Your Windows version (Windows 10 or 11)?

    • Any error message or code that appears when the install fails?

    • Does it fail silently, or does it show a specific screen before stopping?
