Highlighting the whole page instead of text in Adobe Acrobat Standard DC

Highlighting the whole page instead of text in Adobe Acrobat Standard DC 2015.006.30306 and AcrobatPro2020-20.001.30005.

I got this problem from the last 3 days and performed troubleshooting steps given below.

1. Re-installed application.

2. I tried to change the preferences (Edit -> Preferences -> Commenting)
