How can I keep the footnote list closed?

Hi, I use Adobe reader to take down lectures and have a trouble..

While I take notes using footnote tool, I want the footnote list to stay closed, not to interrupt my work.

But every single time I click any footnote (by mistake), the footnote list pops up. And it makes me sooooo annoying.

I don't know since when it works that way.. I mean, it didn't until recently.

I sincerely hope your help..

The Adobe Acrobat Reader does not have a “footnote” list. I wonder if you mean the “Comments” pane?

There is no reason for you to know the “correct” terms as long as we confirm we are talking about the same thing! Merry Christmas to you, too!
