how can I lock a document after signing it with acrobat reader DC

The way that seems to work for me is:

using Adobe DC Forms

- Go to Digital Signture

- place digitial signature in location of desire

- open up propereties

-  > signed tab

- click on mark as read only (all fields) or select specific fields

- Close

upon signing the fields become read only and cant be changed

If you are using a digital signature to Sign the document then try this :-

• In the Sign Document dialog box, do the following:

  • Choose a Signature from the Sign As menu.
  • Enter the Password for the selected digital signature
  • Select an Appearance, or choose Create New Appearance.
  • Enable Lock Document After Signing if this option is available. Select it only if you are the last recipient to sign the document. Selecting this option locks all fields, including the signature field.

  In case it doesn't work you will have to lock the document using Acrobat application (Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC).
