How can I use the MacOS text speak function in Adobe reader?

Hello everyone. Can someone help? I really need your help!

MacOS has this great speak text feature: https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/have-your-mac-speak-text-thats-on-the-screen-mh27448/mac

But if I select a sentence in Adobe Reader my MacBook only reads the name of the file.

Is there any chance I can adjust it?

Greetings, Lena

Hi @Lena28305642cujm

Sorry for the delay in reaposne.

You did enable the Mac's text to speak function. Have you also enabled the same from within Acrobat Reader?

Open Acrobat >Reader>View>Read Out Loud>Activate Read Out loud.

You can also change the same settings from Acrobat's preferences. Open Acrobat>Edit>Preferences>Reading

Thanks,

Akanchha
