How can you open a zip document on iPads?

I've been trying to open a very important document with charts, and I don't seem to find a way.  Any help is appreciated?

It is a zip document, how can I unzip it?

    A ZIP isn't a document. It's more like a sealed envelope with stuff in it. Before you can read the stuff in the envelope you need to open it. What you need is an "unzip" app. There is nothing included with iOS to do this so visit the AppStore.

    Once you have the ZIP open, hopefully the app will do the right thing with the stuff inside.
