I have received two pdf files via G-mail. When I download it it opens a print demand. It is impossible to save it so I can forward it to others???

Any kind of support is appreciated - BR/Christine

It is a MacBook Air. The problem is not to open the document. But when I want to save it, it comes up as print version. I cannot save it and forward it to others??

You can. Simply dismiss the Print dialog and then you'll be able to save the file.

You can't remove this command, though, because you only have the free Reader. You would need Acrobat to be able to do it.

The best you can do is to disable JS (as I've explained) and then it won't show up.

If you open it it means you can save it. Not sure what you mean by "print demand", but if you mean that a Print dialog opens when you open the file that's probably due to a piece of script embedded in it that does that. When you cancel it, does the file close automatically?

Thanks so far. What I mean with print demand is that when I have downloaded the doc and open it, I get this - see copy below. When I send it to my husband also via G-mail (both Apple computers) he can open it and save the doc. Really peculiar.

Before opening the file go to Edit - Preferences - JavaScript and disable JavaScript. Then open it. Does it still happen?
