How do I check to see if I have the lastest verison of adobe?

Also, I have an error message popping up that states I don't have the latest plug in for adobe. How do I find it?

    You may have it already. Did you get that message when you clicked on a link while using a web browser?

    You didn't answer my question. When doo you get and what were you doing when you got that message. Mostly that message only comes up when you are trying to view a pdf in a web browser (like Chrome, Firefox or Edge) that isn't compatible with ANY version of Reader.
