How do I launch Reader

So Adobe has decided to nix Reader and combine everything in Acrobat.

I launch Acrobat, it prompts me to sign in, or Cancel. So how do I launch Reader? There is no option.

Win 11, latest Acrobat version.

    Hello @Leigh262471179bj0,

Thanks for reaching out, and we understand your concern.

It is not recommended to have both Acrobat and Reader installed on the same machine. And it was creating a lot of problems for users. Adobe has introduced a unified installer, so if a user now has an active subscription on their Adobe ID, Reader will automatically be upgraded to Acrobat.

For more information on the unified installer and how to use the Reader, please visit this help page: https://adobe.ly/3S8dCgp

You understand my concern? You didn’t even read my question, and didn’t even provide an answer.

I understand your concern. And that is the only way you can handle it.

    • If Acrobat is installed, you need to uninstall it.
    • Download Reader: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ and install from here
    • Ensure you log-in with Adobe ID that never had linked to any Adobe Subscription or trial.

Let us know how it went.
