How do I stop Acrobat Reader PDF files from opening in Edge browser?

Can anyone show me how to stop this from happening? I want the PDF's to open as stand-alone file, through Acrobat Reader. 

I'm using Windows 11. I just downloaded the latest, free version of Acrobat Reader. But it will only open PDF's files in the Edge browser. 

I've done many google searches seeking an solution. But every answer I found gave instructions that didn't work on my browsers (including Edge) or on Acrobat Reader.
