Question

How do you display 2 consecutive pages of the same multi-page pdf, one per screen, on a dual monitor setup in Acrobat Reader?

Hi

As the question says...

Is it possible in Acrobat Reader to have full screen mode use both monitors in one continual workspace, so that you can have one page on the first monitor and the next page open on the second monitor - i.e. like having two pages of a book open, one per screen? I would like to put the displays in portrait orientation so as to be able to view as much as possible (original document is in A4 size) . I would use zoom > fit to page to have one page fill each screen as much as possible. When I hit page down, I would like the next set of 2 pages to appear, one per monitor.

At the moment, despite having the 2 displays configured as one extended workspace in Windows (ie not cloned), when I toggle full screen mode in Reader it uses only one monitor. I cannot see an option to enable the use of both monitors being used as one continual workspace.

If I have to drag the Reader window across the 2nd monitor to manually use both screens (and select view>page display > two page view, then carefully centering the document so that the edge is aligned with the edge of a monitor), the document is not so large as when in full screen mode as the menu bars and other items occupy screen space, restricting the width of the document (I am not familiar with the nomenclature - window itself, the menu (file -edit -view -window -help), Home - Tools & tab and row of icons beneath are all annoyingly displayed.

At the moment I'm using my laptop monitor (15.6 in) and a larger 22 in monitor - if I can get this to work I will go ahead and buy a portable 15 in monitor to use as 2nd display, but if Reader can't do this there's no point in my buying it.

I'm running the latest version of Acrobat Reader on Windows 10.

Please help if you can!

Thanks
