    Are you asking about filling in the form in Adobe Reader X or Adobe Acrobat X? You posted the question in the non-technical Lounge forum. Once you confirm the software, we'll move it into the correct forum.

    I'm guessing Reader. If not, we can move it over to regular Acrobat.

    Szalam I'm sure you are right. It's early here, and I'm still waiting for the caffeine to hit my bloodstream. (Which won't hold water with you, since it's earlier still on the Pacific coast! )

    jboris001 Assuming the IRS form has active forms fields, you can simply click in the text boxes with the Hand tool and starting filling out the data.

    If you downloaded a flat form (without active forms fields), download the updated free Adobe Reader DC and you can fill it out with the Add Text Comment tool.

    Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Install for all versions

    Or go back to their site, and look for the one with the active forms fields.
