How to close the Adobe Express Photos pop-up in Acrobat Reader and stop it reappearing (Windows and Mac)

Could you please share more details about the issue so that we can assist you better:

1. Are you on Windows or Mac?

2. Is Adobe Express Photos actually installed, or did it just take over your Print Screen key?

3. After you untick "Show me messages" and restart Reader, does it stay unticked?

Suggestions:

Force-quit Adobe Reader, then reopen it:

• Windows: press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open Task Manager, find every "Adobe Acrobat Reader" entry (check both Apps and Background processes), right-click each and choose End task. Then reopen Reader.

• Mac: press Option+Cmd+Esc, select Adobe Acrobat Reader, and click Force Quit. Then reopen.
  Tip: before force-quitting, try tapping Esc, and then Enter, once; sometimes that dismisses the hidden box. If you are only viewing (not editing), force-quitting is safe.

Once Reader reopens, turn off the in-app messages:

1. Open Preferences: Ctrl+K (Windows) or Cmd+K (Mac).

2. Go to General.

3. Under "Messages from Adobe", untick "Show me messages when I launch Adobe Acrobat Reader" (and untick "Don't show messages while viewing a document").

4. Click OK and restart Reader.
