How to close the app?

I am unable to close Adobe Reader and this has created problems in shutting down my computer. Also, I can't open pdfs neither uninstall the app and reinstall it. Hope to get genuine help on this matter.

What's the exact version number of the application (You can find it out by going to Help - About Adobe Acrobat Reader)? What's your OS version?

Thank you for reaching out.

Please try closing the application from the task manager. To open the task manager, press the "Ctrl+Alt+Delete" keys on the keyboard. Select the Acrobat Reader process from the list and press the end task button in the Task Manager.

Then try shutting down the machine.

Let us know if the issue persists.
