How to get Adobe reader to read spanish text out loud on Mac Os?

Hello

I am trying to use the read out loud feature on my adobe reader acrobat DC to read a pdf written in Spanish.

I have tried going to the language setting through Preferences, Languages, Application Language.

It is currently set to: same as operating system.

I do not have any other option available.

How can I get the program to read my document out loud in Spanish?

Thank you all in advance

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?

So, I have no idea what you mean by that either. To my mind "Adobe Export" is a service, not something you can drag and drop to, and it doesn't make PDF files. Perhaps we mean a different thing. Maybe a screen shot would help (return to forum, you CANNOT email them!)

I don’t understand what you mean, sorry. I understand “Adobe Export” to mean ExportPDF but that does not convert anything to PDF.

How did you "convert to PDF"?

How did you convert to PDF? With Acrobat or just Word? May not have set the PDF language. ExportPDF does not replace Acrobat in this.

I took the word document , select All , set language to spanish then converted to PDF. I tried to play it read out loud, along with my OS language set to spanish.  the reader keeps reading funky with an english pronunciation.

Ok, I've done some more research. I think the problem may be that the document language is not set to Spanish. This is a per-document setting and cannot be changed in Reader. See Can Adobe Reader read out loud in French/other languages?

The PDF was originally a word document with the language set to Spanish that was converted as a pdf so that i could use the adobe reader.

it tries to read Spanish trying to pronounce the words in english.

I have an adobe export pdf annual coverage. I don't know if it is pertinent or not

    thanks

Have you installed a Spanish voice to your Mac? Readwr has no voice of its own. macOS Sierra: Change your computer’s voice
