Adobe's PDF Library, licensed by DataLogics, gives a C++ interface to PDF editing. This is much more complex and requires good knowledge of the PDF internal format, ISO 32000-1 (1000 page document).

I believe this covers all the possibilities with Adobe software. There are other PDF libraries which may be easier but they are outside the discussion of the Adobe forum. Check the library supports Cyrillic, many are Latin1 only.

Would it work to say:

I find the words DIGITAL then SIGN next in the document.

I ASSUME there is a dash next to it.

I DO NOT KNOW the size of the dash.

I add a number in the space I GUESS is there?

If so this is possible. If you need to know anything about the dashed line, it is not possible. Worth checking whether the words DIGITAL SIGN appear anywhere else in any document, for example in instructions.

Ok, a human needs to find the boxes and add the digital number. Unless I miss something.

How, as a human, would you find these places to sign, exactly? Maybe from your description we will see a way you can program it, which does not currently does not even seem difficult, but impossible.

I can’t see any reasonable prospect if solving this surge required accuracy. A human needs to do this.
