I played around with the viewing preferences without understanding what i was doing.

Now when I try to view  a document the page is just grey.

I just want to know if I can reset the preferences (tools>preferences>) to whatever was defaulted when I downloaded the program.

Please help

Thanks

Hi micheller49153595,

To restore the preferences, please refer the steps provided in this thread: How to reset Preference settings in Acrobat.

If that does not help, try to uninstall the application.

You can use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs to remove the application if you are on Windows.

Then restart your system and re-install the application from here: Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution

Let us know if you need any help.

Regards,

Meenakshi
