How to use Apple Tags to search for PDF files on a PC?

I use a PC, my colleague Mac. I got a lot of PDF files from him, which he marked with the help of Apple Tags.

I can open and view files, but keyword / tag search does not work.

How can I use keywords / tags to search for documents marked with Mac if you work on a PC?

    Correct answer Test Screen Name

Assuming you mean the normal kind of apple tags (like here OS X: Tags help you organize your files - Apple Support ), you can tag any kind of file on a Mac. The tag doesn't become part of the file, but it's put in a special Mac-only place outside the file.

So, what you need is a Mac.

If there is, the solution won't involve Acrobat Reader.

    Thanks for answer.

Is there no other way to transfer this data to Windows?
