I can not open a pdf!

I am running windows 10, completely updated as of today 12/18/18.

I have uninstalled adobe reader 2x and successfully installed both times.

I have updated adobe reader and checked for more updates, of which there are no more.

I have tried to change the security protection, although the OFF button is already selected.

I swear to pete henry, I need to open a pdf and your lovely program will not allow me to.

I open Adobe reader, version 19.010.20064, and it closes before I can select a file to open!

Why?

Why do you supply a broken program?

Why do you expect anyone to use your broken dysfunctional program?

According to a google search, this problem has been happening for a long long time and you have yet to correct it?

Why do you quickly and absent-of-proof suddenly assume it is a MS op sys problem?

I personal am very dissatisfied with your non-fixes posted in replies to others with this exact problem.

I hope you will correct the problem very very very soon!!!!!!!!!
