Hi,

I have been struggling with this issue for a while now. I have a MacBook Pro and I am having issues with printing any kind of pdf on Adobe Reader I just get the same notice error each time "this document could not be printed, there were no pages selected to print" and I can't really understand why that is. I have tried several solutions I could find but none of them seem to work. So far I have tried: printing the pdf as an image, updating printer drivers, reinstalling Adobe, updating my Mac software. I have tried a few others to but I can't remember them from the top of my head.

Please help!

Thanks,

Aneesa

    Hello Aneesa,

We're sorry for the trouble you had while printing a PDF using Adobe Reader. What is the current version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify, refer to the steps from the help article Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

What is the version of the Mac OS installed?

What is the make and model of the printer you have?

Are you getting the error message while printing one PDF file or with all the PDF files?

For testing purpose, create a test user profile with full admin rights or enable the root account, for steps you can refer to help article How to enable the root user on your Mac or change your root password - Apple Support

Install the latest version of Adobe Reader 2018.011.20063 from Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution and see if you still experience the same issue.

Let us know how it goes and share your observation.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

My version of Acrobat Reader will not work with my iMac with Sonoma 14.0.  Do I need to uninstall my Acrobat Reader now on my iMac and then install the newer version?  How do I do it?
