I can't print shipping labels for USPS. I've had a free adobe reader forever. I didn't know I have to buy it now

The morning I tried to made a label for a package I'll sending to my grandsons in Japan.  The last package I sent to them was in the summer and I got the label printing just fine.   Today I couldn't pint it.  The USPS thinks I did.  I've tried to uninstall the Adobe Reader on my comp.  It wont uninstall.  And the Adobe website isn't at all helpful.   Can someone help me?
