I cannot create pdf files from Excel. I enrrolled to free trial of acrobat, then decided I didn't needed and now I cannot use the option of 'Print to PDF' or 'Save as PDF' which used to be available before

The functionalities of Acrobat will stop working if you cancel your trial or subscription. Other commands are by Microsoft and have nothing to do with Adobe. Those should still work.
