I've downloaded and installed the latest version, but still cannot view documents.

I'm trying to view the canadian citizenship application, and when I follow the link it tells me "please wait, if this message is not replaced by the proper contents of this document... download and install the latest version of acrobat reader"

I followed the link provided and downloaded, installed, opened Acrobat Reader, but when I go back to the application, the same message comes up. I still cannot view the application.

It's more than likely due to the web browser you are using. Many of them use their own pdf viewers and do not use Adobe Reader. All of them do a horrible job when viewing forms. The best you can do would be to right-click on the link to the pdf on the website, choose to save it to your computer, then open it in Acrobat Reader.
