IFilter for attached PDF files in .msg files

Hello,

Is there any way to index attached PDF files also in emails that are saved outside from Outlook (in .msg fiels) and how?

    iFilter doesn't index stuff, or make indexes. It's just the tool for getting the text TO index things. So you'd need a tool that indexed .msg files, which could use an iFilter.

    Currently I use Windows 7 x32 with Windows Search.

    If I search within Outlook the Windows Search find and show the result from the attached PDF documents on the email items.

    But if I save the email items on the drive (outside the PST store) Windows Search didn't show the result any more.

    Du you think it is not only a problem with missing IFilter to get the text from PDF files within .msg files?
