IMAGE SIGNATURE WON'T ROTATE

I have no clue... I have tried everything and I continue to try to search for answers but none seem to be provided.

I do not want to use a random signature created by the system, I want to use my own personal signature but every time I pull in an image of my initials and signature it rotates it vertically instead of horizontally with no option to to rotate the image. ANNOYING. I have confirmed via viewer that the photo is orientated correctly so this is a definite annoyance. Why is there not a simple rotate image option when adding photo? SIDE NOTE: Why does it have to be an image? This also seems super stupid since I would like an HD copy of my signature that was signed on a blank piece of paper via my scanner in PDF.

    Hello Brennanz,

We're sorry for the trouble you had with Adobe Reader, what is the dot version of Adobe Reader installed? To identify the version, please take help from the article https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/identify-product-version.html

Which operating system/version are you on? Is it possible to post a screenshot of the screen where you get a rotated image of your signature while using the Fill&Sign tool? To post a screenshot, refer to https://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-7043#jive_content_id_How_do_I_attach_a_screenshot

Reset the Adobe Reader Preferences once and reboot the machine, to reset the Preferences, refer to the help article How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.

Check for the latest patch of Adobe Reader 19.008.20074 from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates.

Is it happening with one PDF file or with all the PDF file?

You cannot attach a scanned PDF file in Signature field, for detailed information, please refer to Fill and sign PDF forms using Adobe Acrobat Fill & Sign

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

I converted my signature into pdf by right clicking on the signature, selecting "export" and then saving to my desktop. After the export is saved, I clicked the "new signature" option and chose "image". I selected the pdf signature I exported and added that to my selection of signatures. I pulled the pdf signature into my pdf and I was finally given the option of rotating the signature on the left hand side of my pdf.

I had the same problem. Simple solution: When you get to Select Image,  right click on the image and select Edit. This will allow you to rotate the image and save it in the preferred position.

I have the same problem. I have tried multiple times to do this by scanning my actual signature and photographing it with my phone. Surprisingly Adobe won't accept a PDF signature but it will a JPEG, but no matter what direction I take the picture it is always sideways when I try to place it in a document even though it is the right way up when I open the saved JPEG?

    Hello,

I'm a bit late, I had the same problem when the signature was in .jpg but converting the picture format from .jpg to .png  worked out for me.

    Hope this will help,

This is not a solution it's a list of questions from an IT person.

I just had this issue and solved it by taking another picture of the signature this time making sure that the original orientation of the photo on my camera/phone lined up with what I wanted to see on the screen. Somehow Adobe sometimes grabs the original orientation of the photo.

Wow this answer is completley pointless, rather do not reply to questions you dont know the answers to.
