Impossible to launch Adobe Reader

Hi,

I recently got a new laptop (Windows 11) at work and I can't launch Acrobat Reader. 
It appears in the task manager but nothing happens. The comptuer department tried a few things, including reinstalling the software, but nothing changed. Any ideas ?

Hello Adrien,

 

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

 

Please restart your machine and check for any pending operating system updates. If updates are available, install them and restart the machine. Next, use the Acrobat Cleaner Tool to remove any corrupt files, restart the machine again, and then reinstall Acrobat Reader

Also, ensure that the app has permissions to your user profile on the machine.

I have the same problem too... I've been working on it for 5 hours, uninstalling and reinstalling... it doesn't work...

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with Acrobat and the delayed response.

 

We are live with a. new update (2025.001.2052x), which has multiple stability and performance improvements.

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version and let us know if it works for you?
