Improvement: Pencil Presets

On image based pdfs where the OCR hasn’t picked up the text correctly I use the pen tool set to full thickness and minimum opacity to highlight as the highlighter tool doesn’t work correctly. This allows me to markup the image but then if I want to write annotations I have to change all the settings on the pen tool again. There should be the option to save presets of the pen tool to speed up the process.

Also as a side, it would be great to see integration with the Apple Pencil styles such as being able to write using a ballpoint,  pencil or digital highlighter as seen in the iOS notes app. I should say this is on the Adobe Reader iOS app. Thank you for the great app, makes pdf much easier to use.

Sorry I’m not being clear enough.

This is a suggestion to improve the Adobe Reader iOS app to include pen presets  which it currently doesn’t do.

    Hello Ads,

The feature of editing the interactive PDF for Adobe Reader mobile app on iPad is not available, you can fill the Adobe wish form to include new features or suggest modifications in existing feature using the URL Feature Request/Bug Report Form

    Thanks,

    Anand Sri.

    Hello

Yes I can edit the PDFs already and mark them up. I’m wanting to add presets for the pen tool, thank you for the link!

    Hello Ads,

we're sorry for the trouble you had with the comment tools, try setting the Properties as Default and see if this helps. Open the Properties of the Pencil tool by right-clicking then select the box 'Make Properties Default'>Click OK, this will keep the custom property you chose.

We will highly appreciate if you fill the Wish form for the integration of Apple pencil and request new feature or modification on the existing feature Feature Request/Bug Report Form

For detailed information on Comments, you can refer to Adobe article Use annotation and drawing markup tools to add comments in PDFs, Adobe Acrobat and Acrobat Reader
