Question

InDesign CS5.5 hyperlinks doesn't work in Accrobat Reader DC

I created document with InDesign, exported it as a PDF, creating the links automatically.

The links are correct (no hyphen, extra space or whatever ...)

The links work perfectly with Acrobat 9.5 but not with Acrobat Reader DC ...

Any idea ?

Hi Elshocht,

As shared above, that the converted document's links working fine with Acrobat 9.5 version but it doesn't with Acrobat Reader DC

There could be a possibility that its and compatibility issue with the newer version of Acrobat  Reader as CS5.5  and also the Acrobat 9.5 is a very old version of Acrobat series.

What exactly happens when you click on the links in Acrobat Reader DC? Would you be able to share the document with us so that we can replicate the issue at our end?

You can share it with us via email shared in private message.

Regards,

Akanchha

It is very strange : I made some more test and, if I open the document in Chrome, links are working perfectly, but not when opened with Acrobat Reader DC: when I click, nothing happen ...

Although I've been using Adobe (and Aldus) products for years (worked with PageMaker 1.0 in 1985 ... waw that long ago !) I'm pretty new to the Forum and ... don't know how to send an attachment.

Could you please give me a link ? Thank you.
