Install of Acrobat Reader DC on Macbook Pro running Mojave hangs up

I've tried three times to install Adobe Reader DC on my Macbook Pro, which is running Mojave 10.14.3. It has hung up each time on "installing package scripts". Anyone with similar experience or workaround?
