Installing Acrobat Reader changed all fonts across the computer, uninstalling fixed.

Kind of an odd issue, we recently installed the free Acrobat Reader on one of our computers and it changed the fonts across all applications to a lower quality, making it hard to read. After we uninstalled Reader, it went back to normal.

Is this a known issue or any recommendations on how to fix this?
