Interactive pdf

I received a one page pdf that contains steps one thru 6 by buttons. Clicking on each number changes the content in the box below. What Adobe program is used to build it and what is the function called?

It's a great way to show How To steps and not having 6 pages. I  don't see how I can attach the file to this discussion so you see what I'm talking about. Thanks for your help.

There's every chance you could duplicate the interactivity in Acrobat. But since you'd have to make the design in InDesign, Word or whatever anyway you will be faced with remaking the interactivity after each design change. So it's worth going to some trouble to do this in the authoring tool.

More then likely either Adobe Livecycle Designer or Adobe Acrobat. Or it cold have been a number of third party products.

Open the file and go to File>Properties>Description>Advanced and see what it says next to  "PDF Producer"

Thanks for the tip. When I go to Advanced it doesn't show "PDF Producer". If I click Help in bottom left corner, it takes me to Adobe Help referencing XI but I'm thinking it is because I'm on XI reader.

I do have a laptop that has Acrobat Pro XI and wonder if it will show me under there.

Can you show me a screenshot of the window at Properties>Description?
