While Opening Adobe Reader XI in Windows 10, it just says an internal error occured. No access to pdf files through adobe..it does not even open.

Did you know Reader XI is very old and has important unfixed security bugs? I’d recommend using the current version, Acrobat Reader DC.  Looks a bit different but works the same.
