invalid plugin detected

Buon giorno le ultime versioni di Acrobat Reader non permettono nè di aprire il prograsmma nè i files pdf, compare un messaggio di errore "invalid plugin detected". la soluzione proposta. eliminare il file dll "Composer Player Control" non funziona per il semplice fatto che il file nella cartella indicata non esiste nè in altre cartelledi Adobe. Che fare allora? grazie Ronni Pozzi

Hi Ronni,

Hope you are doing well.

As described above, the error message says "Invalid Plugin detected", just want to confirm that are you trying to open the file on the web using the Acrobat Reader plugin or it's locally saved on your computer?

If application (Reader DC) doesn't open/launch at all, then we'd suggest you try the following steps:

1- Restart the computer

2- Remove the application using a cleaner tool: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html 

and then install it again: https://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/ 

Try launching the application as well as opening the pdf file and see if that works.
